This Nedap Velos software version contains new and improved functionalities that provide new solutions, add valuable options to existing solutions and further increase the ease of use of Velos.

Nedap FarmControl

Identification

• Fixed an issue in the rotary identification. Due to a memory leak cows could sometimes be placed on the wrong position

Nedap CowControl

Heat Detection and Health Monitoring

• Fixed an issue that caused the calendar events report layout to be corrupted when the report was empty.

• Fixed an issue that caused graphs on the urgent attentions page not to be shown over the available width of the screen.

General

• Nedap constantly updates the software to prevent security vulnerabilities. In this version some 3rd party libraries have been updated because of this.

• Fixed an issue that was introduced in Velos 2023.4. This issue could reduce the performance of the web interface.

• Fixed an issue that was introduced in Velos 2023.3a. If on the page Settings > Network an IP-range other than the default 172.23.199.x was used for Velos net (LAN2 on the VP8002) the DHCP server was no longer working.

• Fixed an issue that caused secondary VPUs that were added manually (Settings > V-packs > Manually added VPU's) not to be upgraded. 

• If a download of an internet update to the VPU failed no error message was shown to the user. The issue has been fixed.

• Fixed an issue that caused multiple backups to be created if the size of the backup was very small. The issue occurred when selecting USB backup on the page Settings > Automatic backups.

• An installation needs to run on version 2022.1 or newer to be able to update to this version. Make sure to update to version 2022.1 first before installing this version.

• This version is compatible with Taurus 2020.1 (5.101.7.0) or higher.
