Important notice
This Nedap Velos software version is the first version that supports only the VP8002. Installations using a VP8001 as the main VPU and/or as a secondary VPU cannot be updated to this version. This version will be maintained to address bugs and ensure continued security. No new features will be added.
A limited number of installations, such as those using MPC2 and VP3104, cannot be updated beyond Velos 2024.1. Most installations, however, can update to the latest version of Velos, and doing so is strongly recommended. Any installation that is not running this version or a later version will lose its online functionality as of 1 September 2026. Further information can be found on this page.
General
As Velos in combination with Nedap Now requires a version newer than Velos 2024.1, the system notification 'Setup Nedap Now' is no longer displayed in this version, even if the installation has been added to Nedap Now.
To make the 'Setup Nedap Now' link visible again, you must first update to the latest version of Velos.
System requirements
VPU
All VPUs in the installation, both main and secondary, must be a VP8002.
Velos version
An installation needs to run on version 2022.1 or newer to be able to update to this version. Make sure to update to version 2022.1 first before installing this version.
Taurus
This version is compatible with Taurus 2020.1 (5.101.7.0) up to and including Taurus 2024.1.1 (5.147.25.0).
