Important notice

This Nedap Velos software version is the final version supported on the VP8001. Nedap will no longer release new software updates for the VP8001. Installations using a VP8001 as the main VPU and/or as a secondary VPU cannot be updated to any version higher than this one. Please update these installations to this version to stop receiving notifications about the availability of new software versions.

All installations with VP8002 only can update to a newer version of Velos, and doing so is strongly recommended. Any installation that is running this version or an earlier version will lose its online functionality as of 1 September 2026. Further information can be found on this page.

General

• Resolved an issue in the library used for password strength calculation, which occasionally caused memory-related problems.

System requirements

Velos version

• An installation needs to run on version 2022.1 or newer to be able to update to this version. Make sure to update to version 2022.1 first before installing this version.

Taurus

• This version is compatible with Taurus 2020.1 (5.101.7.0) up to and including Taurus 2024.1.1 (5.147.25.0).
