Velos Taurus 6.2
In contrast to Taurus 5, The Taurus 6 Windows application sends the supplied data files to Velos as a whole and leaves all processing to Velos. Consequently, the relevant logic has been moved from the Taurus Windows application to Velos. This means that changes may be implemented in the Velos application for the benefit of Taurus without requiring any modifications to the Taurus 6 Windows application. A description of these modifications can be found in the release notes of the Velos release under the header Taurus 6. These are the release notes for updates in the Taurus 6 Windows application.
Taurus 6.2 Windows application (build 6.0.0.77)
Fixed security vulnerability CVE-2025-53864: gson 2.10.1
By default, Taurus is installed in the folder
c:\taurus1. If a different installation folder was selected, an additional subfolder namedtaurus1was created within that folder, even though this was not necessary. This issue has been resolved. The Taurus 6 Windows application displayed the message “Connecting to …” both while establishing the connection to Velos and while sending data to Velos. As a result, it sometimes appeared as if a connection could not be established. This has now been improved by adding the message “Exchanging data with …”.
